“First Past the Post”

Dr Tim Castrisos BDS Hons (Syd), MDSc (Melb), FRACDS

Infected teeth with post retained restorations pose a dilemma with treatment planning. Is post removal the best option? This lecture will discuss the assessment of these teeth including the use of 3D imaging. Root fractures can be a complicating factor. Current treatment protocols for post removal will be discussed along with the presentation of selected cases.
